簡単に職歴紹介：日本の大手企業で人事＞アメリカで日経企業の社長秘書＞経理マネージャー＞不動産資格取得し不動産業＞アマゾンマネージャー。

アメリカで生活するようになり早20年になります。今や何でもオンラインで手に入り、昔に比べて格段に生活しやすくなりました。でも、日本の商品が全て手に入るわけではないので、ショップから送ってもらえないものは両親に送ってもらったり、日本へ帰国した時は子供達のために、山ほど荷物を持って帰ったりしています。
TORIYOSE BOXを立ち上げたきかっけは、私と同じように自分の国から離れて海外に住む方へ懐かしい商品をお届けしてあげたい。と思ったのがきっかけです。幸い私の場合は両親が健在ですが、そうでない方もたくさんいらっしゃると思います。また海外駐在されていた方も時折アメリカの商品が懐かしくなっても、お友達に頼むのは心苦しい。という場合もあるかと思います。
懐かしいもの、憧れのものを手に入れることが出来るのは、ちょっとした贅沢です。でも、TORIYOSE BOXはラグジュアリーを提供するための会社ではなく、「居心地の良い環境つくり」のお手伝いをするためにあります。

Who We Are

Hello, my name is Emi and I’m the founder of TORIYOSE BOX. Here is a little bit about myself.

I was born and raised in Japan. After I graduated from college, I started my career by working for a large electric company as a human resource assistant in Japan. This company taught me various skills as well as energy sustainability. And since this was my first career, the topic of energy was always my interest, especially green energy.

I have worked for a large Japanese export and import company as a secretary for president and account manager. I also worked as a licensed realtor when I move to Pennsylvania. I enjoyed learning different aspects of business and bringing satisfaction to clients by focusing on their needs in details. But I knew something was missing. And what changed my life perspective most was working for a retail giant Amazon.

While working as manager, I have found a way to utilize my skills such as human resources knowledge, business operation, marketing, planning, and ability to understand customers’ needs. I also realized I can utilize my experience, expertise, and connection to create something new. And working for a big corporation was not the answer.

TORIYOSE BOX’s top priority is to help you to have an even better quality of life.

I have been living in the U.S. for almost 20 years and I still miss Japanese items. I know what it is like to live oversees. When I go back to Japan, I usually pack a lot of goodies in suits cases for my children and myself.
I founded this company because I wanted to help people like me who live overseas. Fortunately, my parents are still healthy and they kindly ship items to us from time to time. But I know some of you may not have that.

My company is not about luxury, it is about helping you to obtain items which give you comfort and energy at a reasonable price.

Also, our main focus is to import and export goods internationally and utilizes green energy for logistics. Materials we use are all eco- friendly and biodegradable. We also donate part of our profits to an organization which helps the development of green energy.

I have children and my children are the most important part of my life. I’m sure the same goes for you. To make someone smile while contributing to creating a sustainable future is where my passion lies.

Together, we can make a better future for the next generation one package at a time.
